JAPAN ‘19
I didn’t go there with a plan to shoot - I went with curiosity.
But walking the streets of Osaka, Kyoto and Tokyo, something clicked.
I started noticing the small stories: a salaryman asleep on the last train, neon lights bleeding into the rain, an old woman sweeping her doorstep at sunrise.
It wasn’t about perfect shots - it was about presence.
The trip didn’t just leave me memories; it gave me a way to see.
Looking back, Japan 2019 wasn’t just travel.
It was the quiet start of everything I now chase with a camera.
…and also the moment I realized street photography is mostly walking and waiting - and loving it.
